At Librolane (operated by Librolane Inc.), we take data privacy seriously. Since we deal with student and school data, we adhere to the highest standards of data protection, including compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India.

1. Information We Collect

• School Data: Institute name, address, affiliation details, and staff records.
• Student Data: Names, admission numbers, attendance records, academic performance, and parent contact details.
• Payment Data: Transaction IDs and billing addresses (we do NOT store Credit Card/Banking passwords; these are handled by Razorpay).

2. How We Use Data

We use AI to analyze student performance and generate insights. However, we do not sell student data to third-party advertisers. Your data is strictly used for:

• Providing ERP functionalities (Attendance, Fees, Result generation).
• Training personalized AI models for your specific school (Data is siloed).
• Sending automated WhatsApp/SMS alerts as requested by the school.

3. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256). We use AWS (Amazon Web Services) Mumbai Region servers to ensure data stays within India.

By accessing or using the Librolane platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. SaaS Subscription

Librolane is a subscription-based SaaS product. The "Core ERP" is provided for free, while premium modules (WhatsApp, AI) are paid add-ons. Failure to renew paid subscriptions will result in the deactivation of premium features, but your Core ERP data will remain accessible.

2. User Responsibilities

Schools are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Admin Accounts. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. You agree not to use the platform for sending spam or illegal content via our communication channels.

3. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

1. Eligibility

Refunds are applicable only for Annual Plans paid upfront. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable but can be cancelled anytime to stop future billing.

2. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method (Source).

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from the "Billing" section in your dashboard. Your service will continue until the end of the current billing period.
